01:27 - The top player switches combat base to begin to stand up with the leg on the same side as the arm that is being extended. He points his fingers towards the head of his opponent to slip his arm out and open up the closed guard.
01:52 - The top player uses a leg drag followed by a cross knee cut to break the grip on his ankle. He then enters into cross hamstring and begins inside camping.
02:00 - From the inside camping position the bottom player is able to peel off the grip of his bottom leg and bring it to the far hip. He uses this to switch sides and enter DLR
02:13 - From DLR, the top player is trying to sheer his leg free. It fails, but his foot is well above the hip so when he pressures forward the DLR is weak and becomes HQ.
02:22 - The top player uses a leg drag and then starts to stack the bottom player. He keeps a good knee elbow connection to defend K Guard.
02:31 - The foot in the armpit escape forces the top player into a duck under. As the bottom player spreads their leg to defend the duck under, the top player uses a back step to complete the guard pass to side control.
04:04 - The bottom player builds up to an elbow and uses an outside elbow escape to trap the foot and escape to 3/4 Mount.
04:41 - The bottom player is able to escape 3/4 mount but ends up in chest to chest half guard.
05:17 - The bottom player does a great job of countering the overback grip. The top player initially has his feet crossed to counter the scoop grip. The bottom player legs go of the scoop grip to push off the hip forcing the top player to uncross their feet. Then the bottom player goes back to the scoop grip.
05:38 - From supine open guard, Gordon is working to pass by forcing a RDLR type position to set up a nice cross step to get to the J-Point
05:40 - The top player does a great job of flaring his knee towards the hip to prevent the bottom player from inverting to enter his trail leg.
05:43 - Uses the crotch lock to slow the get up and denies the second leg to the bottom player.
05:52 - The top player inserts the far hook and the defender rolls over their near shoulder to put their back on the mat resulting in 3/4 mount.
05:56 - From 3/4 mount, the top player steps their foot out to complete the guard pass to mount with double underhooks.
06:17 - The top player gives his foot to the bottom player to back track from mount into 3/4 mount.
06:43 - The top player tires to pummel in a butterfly hook a couple times to extract his foot. However after that fails, he just uses a front pummel to free his foot and complete the guard pass to mount.
06:56 - From mount, the top player transitions into S-Mount.
07:09 - From S Mount, the attacker tries an arm bar but the defender is able to turn away, propping up on their elbow to escape.
07:29 - Snap down from standing into the front headlock.
07:34 - The defender escaped the front headlock to guard, but he did so too soon resulting in the top player being given 2 Points for the takedown.
07:44 - Top player uses shearing back step to free himself from DLR but the bottom player is able to retain his guard.
08:27 - The top player threatens a darce and the bottom player inverts. The top player takes a cross scoop grip and tries a duck under but the bottom player is able to retain his guard.
09:16 - From open guard north south, the bottom player is able to take a scoop grip and initially enter into outside ashi before passing the leg over to 50-50.
09:39 - From 50-50, one player initially tries to heist before splitting the legs apart and getting heel exposure. He threatens the inside heel hook, but the defender controls the outside leg which limits the breaking power and he is able to escape.
