This is possible because they are on the overhook side. Then the defender switches direction. Instead of turning to their knees, they get their back to the mat to escape and stand back to neutral.

07:25 - From outside ashi, the defender rolls to the side. The attacker tries a knee bar. It fails and the defender is able to free their knee to escape.
07:44 - Win the far side underhook battle to prevent the guard pass to north south
08:19 - The guard passer has double scoop grips and uses them to complete the guard pass to side control.
08:23 - Following the guard pass to side control, the bottom player frames and uses an elbow escape to recover guard.
08:25 - The top player is using loose guard passing. The supine guard player grabs the lead leg and works to enter leg entanglement.
08:28 - From outside ashi, the defender frees their knee to escape and enters the crab ride.
08:40 - From turtle, the top player gets a gyaku sankaku.
08:44 - The attacker takes a gyaku sankaku from turtle. The defender takes top position and the attacker bails on the triangle and transitions into the legs, throwing in his matrix hook. The defender gets 2-Points for the sweep (not a good understanding of the rules by the attacker. )

09:42 - From the flank position, the defender inverts and enters outside ashi with scoop grip. He threatens a knee bar and a toe hold that both fail resulting in 50/50.
10:16 - From 50/50, one player transitions to 70/30 and then to reverse closed guard.
10:21 - From reverse closed guard, the bottom player is trying to heist up to top position. The top player takes an achilles grip and threatens a belly down straight ankle lock.
11:23 - Inversion and grab second leg to wrestle up
11:29 - Need to control the leg above the knee to prevent the limp leg
13:04 - Bottom player wins the far side underhook and is able to retain his guard.
13:20 - Have to beat the knee if you want to do a wedging back take
13:40 - From butterfly ashi, the defender threatens a knee bar on the butterfly ashi leg. The knee bar fails results in the defender escaping butterfly ashi and entering cross ashi. To defend the knee bar, he had a deep scoop grip making it hard for the attacker to get finishing pressure.
13:45 - From cross ashi, the defender rolls to the side to free his primary leg and escape.
13:50 - From open guard, the top player is using loose passing. The bottom player takes a kimura grip and throws the foot over the head to enter the hip step position. Top player is able to posture as defense to escape.
14:49 - From closed guard, the top player stands to open it and bottom player enters K-Guard. It is interesting how the bottom player scoops both legs so he could go K-Guard in either direction.
15:14 - From K-Guard, the attacker is very patient. As the top player stands the attacker shoots in for a knee bar from outside ashi.
15:18 - From outside ashi with a scoop grip, the attacker is threatening a knee bar against a standing defender. The defender stacks the hips and tries a wedging back take to counter resulting in reverse half guard.
16:28 - Break their grip on your foot and then immediately threaten leg drag followed by the cross scoop grip to duck under/backstep dilemma
16:30 - The guard passer us using loose passing. He takes a cross scoop grip and a duck under to enter the flank position.
16:40 - From the flank position with a cross scoop grip, the guard passer plays the duck uder/back step combo and is able to back step to complete the guard pass to north south. The bottom player turns to their knees to avoid points resulting in the front headlock.
16:45 - Very patient backtracking into dope mount
17:04 - From dope mount with a cradle, the top player takes the katagatame grip as he rolls into the inverted front headlock.
17:14 - Threatens the guillotine or seated katagatame forcing the defender to put their back on the mat. Immediately, the attacker blocks the arm with his leg and locks up the anaconda for the finish.
