00:00 - When trying to do a knee cut to pass the guard, we are often met with a strong knee shield by the guard player. As the top player, to get around the knee shield, we can post on their shoulder and their shin as we step over their knee shield leg putting ourselves in a butterfly half guard. Then, we switch sides and shuffle our feet as we leg drag their knee shield leg. If at any time the bottom player lets their knee drift away from their chest, we can enter the smash pass position. If they are doing the right thing, keeping their knee to their chest, then we will leg drag.

08:36 - Owen retains his guard into cross ashi and finishes a straight ankle lock. Very similar to his entry at Aiga where you go into K-Guard with a grip on the other leg.

12:11 - From a keymaster DLR, Cole enters K-Guard. Damien defends with a backstep so Cole uses an external entry into the legs by throwing in his matrix hook before wrestling up to complete the sweep.

04:27:09 - Christos is attacking from butterfly half guard. He takes a scoop grip on the far leg of Joseph before transitioning his butterfly hook across to the far armpit of Joseph. This leg in the armpit allow Christos to spin the leg of Joseph and enter cross ashi.

All Highlights

04:26:22 - Joseph starts the match with an immediate blast double leg to complete the takedown.
04:27:16 - Christos is attacking from cross ashi. He initially threatens the lateral knee bar before transitioning into an inside heel hook. Joseph is able to slip his heel to prevent the heel hook, but a nice little dilemma from Christos to get heel exposure from cross ashi when you cannot control the secondary leg.
04:27:23 - Christos is attacking from cross ashi with a shoelace sankaku and no control of Joseph's secondary leg who is in combat base. Christos takes a climbers grip on the primary leg and rotates belly down to get heel exposure on the inside heel hook with a reverse figure 4 grip. Joseph is able to slip his heel to escape the inside heel hook and during the rotation, Christos's legs transition from a shoelace sankaku into an inside sankaku. This allows Joseph to pull Christos's bottom leg to the outside to start threatening a leg lock of his own. However, Christos counters by passing Joseph's leg over into outside ashi where Christos has a far hip ashi with both his legs on the far hip of Joseph. Christos then turns onto his outside hip to get heel exposure with a reverse figure 4 grip to finish the outside heel hook. Similar situation as entering inside ashi and turning onto your outside hip to get heel exposure.
